The Aji Lemon (Also known as Aji Limon, Hot Lemon & Lemon Drop) is a bright yellow, crinkled and almost cone shaped chilli. Like the Aji Orange, the plant is spindly, almost vine like and can withstand colder tempratures quite well. The plant is a heavy producer and in 2011 we harvested well over 100 chillies per plant. The chilli itself is pretty hot, beaking open the chilli you get a lovely subtle citrus aroma which carries over to the flavour. We use the Aji Lemon in our Lemon Chilli Rape Seed Oil.
