The Bulgarian Carrot, also known as ‘Shipkas’, is a heirloom variety from Bulgaria. A typical Annuum type plant producing a good yield of small carrot shaped chillies which ripen from green to a deep orange. The chillies themselves carry a good heat which some may describe as hot, are fairly thick and give a nice crunch when bitten into.
